
Kelsey Lofton
Kelsey is the Founder and Principal of The Social Strategy Group, a Houston-based, women-owned consulting firm that partners with public institutions, nonprofit organizations, and philanthropic clients to advance equity and strengthen organizational impact. Her approach integrates strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and performance measurement to help mission-driven entities navigate complexity and deliver sustainable outcomes.
Prior to founding The Social Strategy Group, Kelsey worked in the public sector practice at McKinsey & Company and served as a lead consultant at Guidehouse. She also worked directly as a public servant across the country including Texas Legislative Budget Board, where she gained deep insight into the operations and decision-making processes of state and local government.
Kelsey holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a dual Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Political Science from Louisiana State University. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
